For over a decade my studio has been dedicated to hand-illustrated occult works ranging from artisan decks to tapestries and art books. This season I finally undertook something I have wanted to explore for years: a fully illustrated 2026 calendar aligned to the real constellations and lunar phases. Esoterica 2026 represents a longstanding desire to create a functional object that is equally an artistic work—a calendar that honors the rare combination of both astronomical accuracy and esoteric symbolism.
At its core, Esoterica 2026 is both a work of art and a practical tool. The astronomy grounds it, the symbolism enriches it, and the artwork gives it life. None of these elements exist in isolation; instead, they interlock to form a unified, holistic piece created to honor Light by its True Nature.
Every component of the calendar was crafted by hand. Each month features a full-page pen-and-ink illustration composed of occult diagrams and esoteric imagery drawn from over a decade of my artistic development. The Zodiac and Celtic Tree illustrations originate from my Astro Logos and Sacred Druid collections, respectively. A True Star Zodiacal Wheel anchors the system and charts true sidereal zodiac seasons according to constellation-based boundaries. Lunar phases are precisely mapped and paired with seasonal Lunar Trees derived from Celtic tradition, and planetary weekdays are expressed through hand-drawn glyphs.
Finally, all text, dates, and structural labels employ my handwritten script developed from the Sacred Druid runic collection, giving the entire calendar a cohesive, unified voice.
To properly display the artwork, I chose a large 14" × 11.5" format. The calendar exists as both a functional tool and a fine art print, and the scale allows its intricate detail to be fully appreciated.
